  • GOES satellite imagery (SUVI 195)
  • GOES satellite imagery (SUVI 171)
  • SOHO satellite imagery (LASCO C3)

Imagery from the SOHO LASCO C3 is being observed by SOHO, a solar observation satellite operated by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the European Space Agency (ESA). The coronal mass ejection emission (CME) in the corona region up to 45,000,000 km from the sun observed in the last 48 hours can be checked in near real time. The white circle is the sun, and the black circle around it is a blocker that blocks the bright light of the sun.

Major areas of possible damage from CMEs: Extensive HF communication failures; satellite communication and satellite control, satellite navigation system (GPS), induced current (power facilities, oil pipelines, railways), air navigation (HF, GPS), etc.
