Real Time Data

We provide a variety of information and common sense related to the space propagation environment.

Terrestrial Data

  • KSWC monitors changes of the ionosphere over the Korea Peninsula during 15-minute intervals using an ionospheric sounder installed in Icheon and Jeju stations. The ionogram is updated every 15 minutes and enables immediate monitoring of radical changes or uncommon signs in the ionosphere.

  • D-RAP

    D-region Absorption Prediction Model

    • Prediction of polar cap absorption(PCA) due to solar energetic particles
    • Short wave fade-out estimation due to solar X-ray flux
    • Attenuation of HF wave and recovery time for high latitude and Mid/Low latitude are estimated with GOES proton observation, Kp index, and GOES X-ray flux observation
    • Updating period : 10 minutes
